Living Water Fellowship

Dear Friends,

We are so glad that you have visited our website.  If you live in the Southtowns of the greater Buffalo area and have no church home, we invite you to join us for a service.

Our church is a small Pentecostal fellowship that truly believes in the complete work of the Holy Spirit and the community of faith.  It is our desire to create an environment where these can flourish in a family-oriented setting.  We are emphatic that the local church is to be the center for faith to be active.  We are equally certain that the church is not a denomination and definitely not a building, but rather a body of believers bound by core convictions who gather for corporate worship, involvement, and interaction.  Furthermore, we are called to be a witness to our world, beginning in our own locale, and would like to help those who do not know Jesus find a relationship with Him.  We are aware that many people have been hurt and turned off by churches and struggle with organized "religion."  To these we cannot promise that we have reached perfection, but we would show them the One who is perfect as He is still working in us.

My wife and I have pastored here for over twenty years.  We have four children (as well 2 great sons-in-law and a beautiful daughter-in-law that we claim as our own) and three grandchildren.  I am a fifth generation classical Pentecostal who is not bound by the traditions, legalism, or excesses attributed to some.  At the same time, I am wary of fads, gimmicks, and emotionalism as an end in itself.  My father was an Assemblies of God pastor, and my mother worked with him for over thirty-five years.  I take my vocation seriously as I seek to guard the flock that Jesus gave me.  I am a pastor, an under-shepherd, who desires to see God's people trained to be balanced and prepared for God's work as they mature in Jesus.  My wife, Velva, is a gifted teacher in her own right.  The church here is over seventy-five years old, having begun in Wales Hollow before becoming the East Aurora Assembly of God.  Recently, we have changed our name to Living Water Fellowship to better reflect who we are, a caring Pentecostal church that fellowships together. With our strong heritage, we offer stability to our congregation.pastorpic2

We truly love people.  If we can be of any help to you, or if you would like us to pray for you and your needs, please feel free to contact us.  May God bless you.

Yours in Jesus,

Pastor Paul G. Chamberlin (Pastor C.)
